 Employee Exit Survey
Objective:A company wants to track the factors that influence employees to leave their job. They feel that a survey would lead to improvements throughout organizational processes such as career development, recruitment and retention efforts and decreasing training costs. However, they are concerned that the time to deploy an exit survey, collect the data, and publish the resulting reports would be very costly. Paper and telephone surveys were made to see if the exit survey would provide some information on the reasons for their employees leaving, but these methods were very costly.

Process used:

A Internet-based survey was developed and distributed to the company's distributed offices. Taking advantage of the fully integrated and multi-lingual capabilities of EZSurvey, existing HR data was incorporated into the surveys and analysis along with other data, such as previous employee satisfaction or training surveys, and viewed across a single platform creating consistency and efficiency across a global enterprise. The survey comments were categorized with the use of SurveyTOOLs to provide a very comprehensive analysis in the final report.

Benefits achieved:

The survey's data collection provided detailed information regarding the reasons for exiting employees and allowed them to make some changes within the company. The use of a multi-lingual survey allowed them to include all of their employees and was a great morale builder.
